“Not all those who wander are lost” J.R.R. Tolkien
I am new to the travel advisor role, but travel is in my blood. I have been a Police Officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for 25 years. In moving towards the dream of retirement, I now have a chance to embrace my second passion, travel. Anyone who knows me, knows I usually have at least one or two trips planned at any given time. I like to have things to look forward to, to get me through the longer more challenging days in my career.
I have been an avid traveller most of my life. My first “big” trip was when I was around 14 years old, my grandmother took our family to Mexico for her 80th birthday. We went to Isla Mujeres, a small island off the coast of Cancun, and I was hooked. For most of my career, I have been a single mom to an amazing son. In 2024, I married my soul mate, now we have a family of 6! While our boys are all young adults, I am intent on sharing my passion for travel with them.
Travel is about exploring places you have never seen or experiencing your back yard to see it in a whole new light. I have lived and travelled across Canada, with only Nunavut and Newfoundland left for provinces/ territories I have not visited. Whether it is travelling to brave new worlds (or countries) or exploring this glorious country we call home, I can recommend, share knowledge and inspire your desire to go see it!

My passion for travel
I’ve spent my life exploring—from growing up near Calgary to living across Canada and serving with the RCMP in the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. Travel has always been a constant, whether hiking and skiing in the Rockies, discovering alpine huts, or planning my next adventure—like a backcountry horseback trip in Banff.
My travels span across Canada, the United States, and 14 countries (with more on the way). I’ve experienced everything from self-guided European tours and UK adventures to all-inclusive resorts, cruises, and off-the-beaten-path experiences like canyoning in Spain, surfing in Costa Rica, and kayaking through Louisiana bayous.
I have a deep love for both cultural exploration and tropical escapes—whether that’s touring Ireland with family, revisiting the UK, or enjoying destinations like Mexico, Barbados, and the Dominican Republic. I also love cruising for the perfect mix of relaxation and discovery.
For me, travel is about more than just the destination—it’s about connection, culture, and creating meaningful experiences. I’m passionate about helping others go beyond the typical vacation and discover trips that are personal, memorable, and truly unforgettable.
